Social Media Marketing

Posts, reels and stories, done for you. Content written in your voice and scheduled through the month, engagement handled, filming days where they earn it, and a report you can read, for businesses across metro Detroit and Michigan.

Talk to us

In short

A month of social media that happens without you: planned, made, scheduled, engaged with and reported on, in your voice, from your premises in Michigan.

  • The profile fixed before the first post
  • Written and scheduled in your voice
  • Comments and messages handled; enquiries handed off
  • Filmed on location in metro Detroit

Why it is a system, not a person

Your customers are there every day. Your business is there when someone remembers.

Seven in ten adults are on Facebook and half are on Instagram. The business that shows up there every week is the one they think of first, and the one that shows up when the owner has a spare evening is not.

Social media fails for a local business in one way: it stops. The first month is enthusiastic, the third is thin, and by the sixth the last post is from a season ago and the profile reads as closed. Consistency is not a matter of discipline. It is a matter of someone else doing it.

So we run the month. The voice is written down once, the calendar is planned before it starts, the content is filmed at your premises and written in your words, and it goes out on its days whether or not anyone at your business remembers. The report at the end is the only thing you have to read.

71%
of American adults use Facebook
50%
use Instagram
84%
use YouTube, the most of any platform

In the work

Six things a month of social covers

From the profile to the report. None of it needs you to open an app.

  1. The profile itself, first

Bio, highlight covers, a link page and a pinned post that says what you do and where. Most local profiles lose the customer before the first scroll, and this is the cheapest fix on the page.

  2. Posts and reels, in your voice

Written and scheduled through the month, with captions and hashtags handled. Not only your work: the questions customers ask, the people, the place, the season. How many go out is set to what your market needs.

  3. Stories through the week

The short, unpolished things that keep a business present between posts: a job in progress, a before and after, a Tuesday. Scheduled where they can be, shot on the day where they should be.

  4. Engagement, handled

Comments answered, messages replied to, the local accounts that matter followed and engaged with. A direct message that is really an enquiry is handed to the follow-up system, so it becomes a booking rather than a like.

  5. Filming days on location

A half day at your business in metro Detroit, a month of reels and stories from it. Real people, real work, your premises. It is what makes the content look like you and not like a template.

  6. A report you can read

What went out, what it reached, what people did, which posts brought enquiries. One page a month, in plain words, and the next month planned from it.

Getting there

Voice, plan, make, post, report

The first two happen once. The rest happen every month.
  1. 01

    The voice and the pillars

How you talk, what you will and will not post about, and the four or five subjects a month is built from. Written down once, so every caption sounds like you.

  2. 02

    The month, planned

A calendar you see before it starts: what goes out, on which day, in which format. Changes are a message, not a meeting.

  3. 03

    Made

Filmed on location where it earns it, designed to your brand standards, written and captioned. Approved in one sitting or trusted to run, your choice.

  4. 04

    Scheduled and posted

Every piece on its day, at the hour your audience is there. The calendar closes on the plan without anyone at your business opening an app.

  5. 05

    Engaged and reported

Comments and messages handled through the month, enquiries handed off, and the report at the end that plans the next one.

Fitted work

What comes up here, specifically

Content for a business people can drive to, in the place they live.
  1. Local, not generic

A Lions Sunday, the first warm week in April, the Dream Cruise, the first snow. Content that reads as here, from a business people can drive to, rather than the same post a franchise in Arizona is running.

  2. The message that becomes a booking

For a metro Detroit business the direct message is the new phone call. The ones that are enquiries are answered inside a minute and handed to the follow-up system, so the conversation ends in a booking, not an unread.

  3. Two languages, one account

Captions in Arabic or Spanish alongside English for businesses in Dearborn, Hamtramck and southwest Detroit, written by people who speak them rather than translated by a button.

  4. The review loop

The best posts a local business has are its customers' words. The review system on its own page feeds them here, with permission, so the month is not only what you say about yourself.

Right time when

When this is worth doing

A good fit

  • The last post is from a season ago
  • Someone on staff does it in spare moments, and there are no spare moments
  • Customers message you on Instagram and nobody sees it until Monday
  • You have a real place, real people and real work to show

Not a fit

  • You want followers bought or engagement faked
  • There is nothing to show yet, in which case the website and the brand come first
  • You want to post daily regardless of whether there is anything to say

Scope

What we do not do

Each of these is common, and each is why most social media management is a cost rather than a channel.
  1. Followers or engagement that are bought

Bought followers do not book anything and platforms suppress accounts that have them. Everything here is earned from people who could actually walk in.

  2. A cadence for its own sake

Daily posting is not a strategy. How much goes out is set by what your market needs and what you have to say. We will tell you when less is the right answer.

  3. Content that could be any business anywhere

Stock photographs of handshakes and quotes on gradients. If a post would work for a competitor with your logo swapped in, it does not go out.

Reasonable to ask

Before you commission it

How many posts a month do we get?

As many as your market needs, which is a number we set with you rather than a tier you pick. A restaurant with a new special every week and an accountant with a busy season do not need the same month, and selling them the same month is how most social media packages fail.

Do you need our logins?

You keep them. We are added as a partner or manager on accounts you own, which is how the platforms intend it, and you can remove us in a click.

Which platforms?

The ones your customers are on. For most local businesses in Michigan that is Facebook and Instagram, with YouTube for anything that benefits from video that lasts. We will say plainly if a platform is not worth your money.

Do you film?

Yes, on location across metro Detroit. A half day at your business produces a month of reels and stories, and the difference between filmed and stock is the difference between content that looks like you and content that looks like content.

Who replies to comments and messages?

We do, in your voice, within the hours you set. Anything that needs you, a complaint, a question only you can answer, an enquiry that is really a sale, comes to you with the thread attached.

Show us the account.

Send the handle and tell us what the business has to show. We will come back with what a month would look like for you, which platforms are worth it, and whether a filming day is part of it.
